Embark on a Spiritual Tour of the Most Significant Buddhist Pilgrimage Sites with IRCTC’s Buddhist Circuit Tourist Trains

In every religion, undertaking a pilgrimage tour means a lot more than just a visit to the holy land, temple or shrine. It is a spiritual experience that can cleanse the pilgrim’s mind, body and soul. In the Mahaparinirvana sutra, Buddha once told his followers that they can attain merit and a noble rebirth by going on a pilgrimage to important Buddhist pilgrimage sites such as Lumbini, Bodhgaya, Sarnath and Kushinagar. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has launched a Buddhist tourist train that covers all the important destinations on the Buddh circuit.
